Do you have students wondering whether engineering is the right career path for them? Or students that are creative and need some inspiration for where their career path may lie? If yes, then TEDI-London has the perfect online taster programme for them this half-term.
Back for a second year running, our ‘Thinking Ahead’ programme asks students to design an accessible new community structure that uses light and colour to create a calming space for people with a range of health and wellbeing issues. Students will explore topics including user-centred design, sustainability, innovation, and psychology, as well as how to pitch their idea – all key skills for future engineers!
When is it?
The Thinking Ahead design engineering challenge will run online from 24 May – 4 June and requires approximately 14 hours a week. The hours are flexible and students can tailor them to their schedules. In the second week, there are sessions with the TEDI-London team and industry masterclasses to help them with the challenge. They will also have access to content on our online Learning Tree.
How can my students apply?
Students must be over 16 to take part. They can take part individually or as a group (max 5 people). They will need to fill out a short form on our website to apply by Monday 10 May latest. Places are limited!
