Study Medicine or Dentistry (in English)
in The Czech Republic

Despite the unprecedented challenges faced in 2020, medical and dental students from across the world successfully enrolled at the Czech Republic medical schools this September and October.

Given the increasing awareness of these world-ranked programmes, we have already started to receive enquires and applications for the next enrolment. In 2021, six Czech Republic medical faculties will be opening their examinations up to students from across Asia. Five faculties will be returning to run in-person entrance exams and interviews in Hong Kong while a sixth is offering an online examination opportunity. If the situation with Covid-19 continues into May 2021, online examinations for all of these programmes will of course be available.

In total, candidates have the opportunity to take six separate entrance exams for medicine or four for dentistry without the need to travel to Europe on multiple occasions.

This means applicants from across the Asia/Pacific region can maximise their chances of gaining admission to one or more globally recognised medical schools.

If your aspiring doctors and dentists would like the opportunity to study at some of Europe’s highest ranked medical faculties, applications are now open!

Study in Scotland talk & student panel session

Study in Scotland talk – Thursday 26 November 2020 at 11am (UK time)

Student panel discussion & Q&A – Tuesday 1 December 2020 at 11am (UK time)

We will hold one more talk this year for students, their families, and school counsellors and are extending the invitation to join to schools in Macau, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan.  We will follow the talk with a student panel discussion and Q&A session with some of our current students.  You are welcome to join both.  If you could let your students know they are also welcome to join, and share this invitation with them, that would be much appreciated.

For the next sessions there will be 15 Scottish universities.  I am very pleased to say that we will be joined by the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS).  The RCS is one of the world’s foremost institutions for music, dance, and performing arts; this should mean that we now have nearly every type of university and nearly every subject represented.

We are hosting a ‘Study in Scotland’ webinar and ‘Alumni Panel Discussion’ and you’re invited! The webinar will give you an introduction to life and studies in Scotland, our 4 year course structure and an overview of each university. Our alumni panel discussion will let you engage with past and current students, hear their stories and their views on life and studies in Scotland. Please see the details of both sessions and attending institutions below.

GSA Open Studio: Online Portfolio Workshop

Posted by heo

The programme will be suitable for students thinking of applying to any art school within the UK and not limited to those wanting to make an application to GSA.

It is a 2 week paid programme, aimed at students planning on making an application for a Fine Art, Design, or Architecture programme within the next two years (2021 and 2022 entry). The initial drive behind putting this together is our awareness of how measures taken to address the COVID-19 pandemic may have impacted on the student’s ability build their portfolio of work. However, it is also suitable for students that have not had their school contact time affected.

It is designed to offer projects, with one on one tutor feedback, that will enable them to expand their existing breadth of work in their portfolio and to take away skills that will help them further develop their own independent leaning tools when building their portfolio going forward. Full details, and how to book, are in the link below:

GSA Open Studio: Online Portfolio Workshop

It begins on Saturday 5th December and deadline for registering will be Monday 30th November. We only have 30 places available and these will be on a first come first served basis so I would advise students interested to register as soon as possible. However, booking has only just gone live so at the time of this email so all 30 places are currently available – but this will soon change!
