Important changes to November admissions tests

Test dates and delivery:

To ensure we can run our November admissions tests safely across the world, adhering to local social distancing guidelines, we have moved some of our tests to a different date.

Some tests will run on the previously scheduled date of 4 November and others will run on the new date of 5 November. Candidates should register with their centre in the usual way. Please make sure you check the dates carefully.

In addition, the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT), Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA), Cambridge Test of Mathematics for University Admission (CTMUA), Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) and Thinking Skills Assessment Section 1 (TSAS1) will be computer-based for 2020. Further information will be made available at a later stage.

Key registration dates:

You will need to register candidates on the Entries Extranet in the usual way.  Key entry dates are:

1 September 2020: registrations open

1 October 2020 at 17:00 (BST): standard entry deadline for BMAT/TMUA

15 October 2020 at 18:00 (BST): registration closes for all tests including BMAT/TMUA late entries.  Late entries beyond this are not permitted, and it is essential that all candidates are registered on the Entries Extranet ahead of this deadline.

Key registration information:

Candidate email addresses

We need to capture at the point of registration on the Entries Extranet  candidates’ email addresses. It is important that:

·         The email address should be the candidate’s.

·         If you do not know the candidate’s email address, the field can be left blank and it can be added by the centre at a later date.

·         However, if the email address is entered incorrectly or needs to be changed to a different one after the entry has been submitted, the field cannot be updated by the centre. The centre will need to notify us via email if an amendment needs to be made: ATAdministration@cambridgeassessment.org.uk.
