HKU Open House activities

Starting from the end of January, HKU will be organizing a series of open house activities to let Secondary 3-6 students have a taste of different programmes. It is a great opportunity for students to get in touch with our teaching teams. Detailed information could be found here. USC Summer Programs

USC Summer Programs extend a tradition of excellence to outstanding high school students through unique 4 and 2 week summer courses. Accepted students to the USC Summer Programs will balance academic and campus life as they prepare for college in the nation’s entertainment center – Los Angeles, California.
Summer Program Duration:
4 week: June 14 – July 11, 2020 (no class scheduled on July 3rd)
2 week: June 14 – June 28, 2020
Topics:
Over 20 courses offered in a variety of subjects including architecture, business, engineering, journalism, drama, pre-law, pre-health, etc.
Eligibility to apply:
- High school students who have completed at least the 9th grade by the start of the program
- TOEFL 100 or IELTS 7.0 or above
- Submit all application and information before deadline: March 20, 2020 (International students will require to apply I-20 visa) – Learn more how to apply
Tuition Fees: Approx. USD9,126 including room and board at one of the USC residence halls

SCAD HK – Rising Star Full Scholarship Nomination for 2020

I am pleased to announce the SCAD HK – Rising Star Full Scholarship Nomination for 2020.
Students will spend five weeks (June 21-July 24, 2020) immersed in the SCAD experience, earning credit for two college courses while expanding their knowledge of innovative careers in creative fields. They will explore SCAD culture by participating in engaging student activities that highlight the unique features of each learning environment.

Best of all, they will gain full access to unparalleled resources at SCAD, including inspiring spaces, computer labs, studio, production suites, libraries, galleries, theaters and more.
The first step to nomination is for educator to submit the Rising Star Nomination Form (attached) to Alison Hung: ahung@scad.edu .
Student will need to apply in person and submit documents on SCAD Day on 14th MAR, 2020 at 2-5PM with Miss. Lorrin Au-Yeung.

Eligibility Criteria:
- In order to be considered for this award, students must be nominated by their principal, teacher or university counselor
- The nominee may be of any nationality but must have the right to study in Hong Kong

- The nominee should be ranked in top 10% of their class

ESF University Fair 2020

The event aims at providing our students with information on higher education destinations. Each year, over 160 institutions from over the world send representatives to the Fair. It is a great opportunity for students to gain knowledge on universities or countries they are interested in, and to explore institutions they are not familiar with. It also allows universities to get to know ESF schools and our students.

All Year 12 students will be attending to the ESF fair. We will be leaving Discovery College 12:35 and our fair session is 13:30 – 15:00.
