Professor Loughrey would be interested to talk to anyone interested in Law. She will give an actual Taster Lecture, and to discuss more generally about studying Law in the UK and at Leeds.
Professor Loughrey studied at Oxford and until 2016 was the vice principle of the Law School.
We are one of the leading law schools in the UK and have been providing instruction in law since our inception in 1899. Ranked 8th in the UK for Law in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide, 2018 and 3rd in the UK for Criminology by The Guardian University Guide, 2018, we are equally proud that this quality is felt by our students with 95% overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey, 2017.
