Date: 21 March 2018
Time: 13:30 – 14:20
Venue: 4F Diploma Centre
We are very excited to have Dr Ian Whitfield from Durham giving a lecture on Wednesday 21 March at 1.30 in the DP Centre. Dr Whitfield describes his lecture as:
‘..beginning with an overview of globalisation and its benefits and drawbacks. We will discuss how these drawbacks, whether real or perceived, can lead to a backlash and the rise of disputes, right wing politics and protectionism. Our discussion will be set against a backdrop of global economic and political events in 2016-18 (Brexit, Trump etc.) and the influence of China in global trade. Many issues relevant to Economics, Business and Politics will be analysed in this context.’
This is a great opportunity to listen to a very relevant lecture delivered by a leading and very popular university.
Look forward to seeing many of you there!
