“Teach-An-Hour” Programme

Access HK invites students to participate in their “Teach-An-Hour” Programme. getting involved will give you the opportunity to teach local students English in a friendly environment. The programme kicks off in October 2017 with teaching taking place at Farm Road Government, a government funded public school founded in 1956, and Principal Chan Free Tutorial World, a non-profit organization established in 2011 aiming to provide free learning support to underprivileged children who have financial difficulties.
Teaching takes place from 10:30 am -12 noon on these dates: 7th,14th, 21st October; 4th,11th,18th, 25th November, 2nd, 9th, 16th December 2017, with the minimum commitment being half of these sessions.
Class Structure: Simple and understandable English with interactive teaching; teacher to student ratio of 1:5. Each class will be conducted by 2 volunteers with about 10 students.
