A great opportunity for DC Year 10-12 photographers over the holidays!

DCPTA Photography Competition 2013

1. The competition is open to Years 10 ,11 and 12 students of Discovery College.

2. To enter, log in with your laptop/network username and password at http://dc.edu.hk/dcartsfest/ and upload your photo(s). Should you have any technical difficulties logging in or uploading your photos, please email George Tibbetts from DC ICT george.tibbetts@dc.edu.hk with details. George Tibbits

3. Up to 3 (three) entries allowed per person. The theme is Hong Kong culture

4. The closing date for entries is Friday 11 January 2013 at 2.30pm. All entries must be the entrant’s own original work and must not have been previously published elsewhere.

5. The 1st prize is a one-on-one workshop with photographer Danielle Libine of deelee photodesign. Commendation Certificates will be awarded to the 5 runners-up. The top 10 photographs will be mounted and sold to support the funding of the Arts Fest.

6. The winning entries will be those, which, in the opinion of the judges, most aptly capture the content and spirit of ‘Hong Kong culture’. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. The winners will be contacted and their winning photographs will be published on the school website.

8. There is no entry fee. In entering the competition you agree to your photograph being put into the Arts Fest silent auction and being sold by the DCPTA to support the funding of the Arts Fest. The winning photograph will not be auctioned but will be retained by the PTA and placed on display in the school. The DCPTA may use all entries for promotional purposes.

9. No responsibility is taken for entries lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete due to server functions or failures, virus, bugs, technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or any other causes outside DCPTA control. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
