Study Space a bit hit
Posted by Student Council
Since Easter, the extended Study Space has been available to students to use during lunchtimes. We spoke to Tsz Ying Lee in Y9, who says, “I’m definitely glad that they changed the name from Homework Club to Study Space, because it seems much more approachable. I really like how there’s two places for me to work as well. It helps with my productivity and I find myself being able to work for a longer time and produce better work.”
“This name change really did make the impression of this study area more positive, and it encourages people, including me, to start doing my work here instead of the library, since it’s quite noisy in there,” says Nicole Wun, also in Y9. “I’m also glad we can bring our lunch in there, as it allows us to stay in there longer.”
Mrs Garnett, one of the teachers who has been running the Study Space (previously known as the Homework Club) ever since its opening, says that the space is definitely being used, but there’s also room for more students, so bring your lunch and study away in rooms 3202 and 3207.
